Welcome to my space! To be honest, I didn’t think I would write much in this section at first, and I’m still not going to make it that long. But I think it’s time to say more than just a simple hello.
Let’s face it, introductions can be awkward (guilty as charged!), but hey, I get it, skip the awkward “what do I say?” and jump right in!
My website launched in 1996 in HTML, using Netscape, and it’s been my personal space on the Internet ever since”
Believe it or not, I’ve been navigating the digital wilderness since the early 90s – think dial-up and Netscape! That’s right, I’m a seasoned web veteran with over 25 years under my belt.
In 1996, I launched this website as my personal corner of the internet, built entirely in HTML. It’s been my space to share thoughts, and unleash whatever creative spark ignites my mind. Fast forward to 2005, and this blog was born using Mambo! (currently WordPress)
Now I’m trying to live in the present and not worry about the past or even the future”
Turning 50 this year feels like a milestone! It’s given me time to reflect and appreciate the person I’ve become. There have been times I’ve felt like a bit of a loner, but that’s just part of my journey.
The good news is, I’m actively working on rekindling the happy-go-lucky spirit I used to have. I’m embracing self-love, flaws and all.
I’m now circling back to design after 10 years of working in HVAC (that’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)”
Words have always been my jam. I even wrote a children’s book in my younger days (lost notebook, fate?). You might see some remnants of that passion here on this blog.
As for my dark secret? Let’s just say I’m making peace with it, one step at a time. Focusing on the present is a game-changer – less past baggage, less future worry. It’s also a work in progress, but I’m finally learning to prioritize my own needs instead of people-pleasing.
My goal for 2024 is to not only regain the trust I’ve lost, but also to find a reason to forgive”
My brain is a constant brainstorm! Ideas whiz around like fireflies, and while some fizzle out (admittedly, my short attention span can be a culprit!), others find their way here on this blog. I might come across as a bit reserved initially, but once I warm up, prepare for some enthusiastic conversation!
Overall, I’m on a journey of self-discovery. I’m embracing my creative energy, learning valuable life lessons, and opening myself up to genuine connections. Stick around, and you might just get a glimpse of the whirlwind that is my mind!
I love movies, but these days I’ve come to prefer watching them at home instead of in the theater”
We all have a journey, right? Mine has involved learning to trust my gut and navigate complex situations. Sometimes, that journey can be a bit messy, but it’s all about growth, self-discovery, and becoming the best version of myself.
Maybe it’s because I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I tend to be upfront and honest in my interactions. This can sometimes come across as blunt, but I believe in clear communication.
I can get discouraged, but I never give up. Even when I’ve been emotionally hurt, I keep moving forward, either out of stubbornness or inertia”
I had a puppy and she was my best friend, Sani, was a Peruvian Hairless Dog, a breed full of personality. She taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. We shared many adventures together, and her absence leaves a big void in my life.
Don’t let the puppy phase fool you, I’m a diehard cat lover! My girl Sani stole the show for a while, but cats have always held a perfect place in my heart.
They say dogs don’t go to heaven, and since I don’t care about going that place, I know Sani is waiting for me”
I confess, the internet’s endless scroll can be a real rabbit hole sometimes. Nevertheless, while I might not devour books quite like I did in my younger days, I still make a point to unplug and get lost in a good story every year.
Life has taught me to cherish the simple things. Indeed, every day is a gift, and I’m determined to make the most of it. Undoubtedly, there will be challenges, but I’m a firm believer in perseverance. After all, passion fuels my fire, and giving up isn’t an option. Even when setbacks sting, I keep moving forward, fueled by a desire to grow and learn.
Mistakes are inevitable, but they don’t define me. In fact, I stumble sometimes, but I always get back up. So, what’s next? I’m not sure yet, and that’s the exciting part! Moreover, this isn’t a solo trip; I welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and even the wildest ideas.
In conclusion, thanks for landing!
